To meet my P&L responsibility for the European business I enjoy using my strong analytical skills to formulate and communicate a clear strategic market position for the franchise. This has resulted in growing revenues and improving our bottom line, achieving significant increases in our contribution margin from 2014 to 2017 in a multi-million dollar franchise.
My 20 years’ experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry has helped me design and execute innovative go to market models that have embedded new ways of working in a complex international matrix organisation. These new ways of working have supported my team very successfully engage with our internal and external customers in award winning omnichannel ways.
I have concentrated on developing new governance models to enhance our business so we can communicate with healthcare providers and patients in digital and social media channels. The governance models have been utilised across other company departments.
My style of management is predominantly mentorship. I very much enjoy open dialogue with my team so they can balance their individual and team goals. For me the best measure of success of this has been to observe them in turn support their international business partners successfully through a time of complex change management while in parallel achieve and often over deliver on our financial expectations.
I am very motivated by and have overseen European brand launches and revitalised established portfolios to extend initial life cycle expectations. I invest in personal development with an MBA, an MSc in Leadership to deepen my knowledge in leadership techniques, self-awareness and the pharmaceutical sector. These have complimented my pragmatic emotionally intelligent style of communication and the development of my team.
